How to remove virus and fix errors on any android device?

Latest Tech News:-

Q . How to remove virus and fix errors on any android device?

Ans : While using our android devices on a daily basis,we sometimes feel that it has lost its initial speed and smooth performance though the reason is not clear. We get all sorts of errors and crashes and lag in its usage and we don't want to factory reset it either as it will wipe out all the data .
Then we can do one thing to solve the problems without losing our important data. We need to enter into the safe mode to fix all the issues.

Q.Now what is the safe mode?

Ans: Well, safe mode is an alternative state of your android device where all the third party applications and processes don't run in the background and you can safely troubleshoot the errors.

Q.How to get into the safe mode?

Ans: We need to hold the power button until the 'power off /Shut down '  window appears. Then we need to long press  the 'power off ' option for a few seconds until the os asks if you want to get into the safe mode? Press 'ok ' and your phone will restart and reboot into the safe mode.
[Note - A single press on the power off option will shut your device down ,so u need to long press it.]

If done right,a watermark of ' safe mode ' will appear at the bottom of your screen.
If you have been facing various errors , lags and crashes but in the safe mode you are not facing the same problems then one has to understand that those problems are caused due to a recently installed app on the device . So just uninstalling that app can solve the problems.
Secondly if you have a virus or malware or some malicious programs that you can't fix ,as they keep running in the background, you can surely fix them in the safe mode as all the third party applications are greyed out and thus solve the issues.

Most importantly this mode saves one from having to do a factory reset ,which most of the people usually do and thereby lose all the data to fix those issues.

One can also notice a huge difference in speed of his or her device as all the third party apps and widgets are disabled in the safe mode.It makes your device super fast in this mode.
It also makes one realizes how slow one's device has become due to daily usage and data assimilation..

In the end when all the problems have been solved, one just needs to reboot his or her device to get into their current state of android.

intel i3 vs i5 vs i7 and what are generations :-

Q. intel i3 vs i5 vs i7 and what are generations :-

Whenever we go to buy a laptop or a desktop,we find certain terms like i3 , i5 , i7 and 3rd generation,4 the generation, 5th generation,6th generation etc.,and as a layman it leaves us baffled about which is better to buy.

Here, I will try to clear all the doubts briefly in simple terms. So read along...

First of all we need to understand what are generation and why it keeps being updated with time and what version should we buy..
There are millions of transistors in a processor. It is on this transistors, depends the efficiency of the processor.
At the initial stages of development, these transistors were of bigger sizes, such as 28 nm but with time and rapid improvements in technology this transistors are getting smaller with each and every upgrade and all the more efficient and battery-friendly as it consumes less power. Presently we can see the use of 14nm transistors in latest products.

So an intel core i7 processor of 7th or 8th generation will be better than i7 3rd/4th/5th/6th generations. The same thing applies to core i3 and i5 processors as well.
Then the question arises how can we identify which generation of processor it is? We can find out that in the picture below:

It's clear that the 1st letter after the name of the processor, denotes the generation name . We have also known the fact that we should always prefer to buy the latest version.

Now that we have understood which generation to buy,we should now move to the main topic which demonstrates the comparison between the core i3, i5 ,i7 processors.

       Core i3 processor:-

This processor has dual cores. It has hyper threading technology which makes the CPU act as fast as a quad core processor. It has smaller cache memory and consumes less power than the other two because of less cores.

For normal usages like running Windows office, internet browsing, light editing on photoshop and normal game play this processor is absolutely fine. But to do heavier tasks like doing heavy Photoshop work , mixing audio and videos or playing graphics-heavy games it may not be suitable and this leads us to the  core i5 processor.

       Core i5 processor:-

This processor has two separate variants in desktop and laptop. In laptops,it has only two cores but because of hyper threading it acts as quad core processor . It has better on-board graphics than i3 and supports turbo boost technology which makes it smoother than i3.
The desktop version has a generic Quad core processor but has no hyper threading . So it works as the laptop does, neither more nor less. It can basically do all the tasks that i3 can't but it has its drawbacks. For very high-end gaming, digital audio-video mixing, complex software development and editing we need a better processor which leads us to the i7. But for a normal user it's, according to me,more than enough.

         Core i7 processor :-

This processor also boasts of two variants in laptops and desktops.
In the laptops,it has dual or quad core processor depending on the configuration and thickness of the model. Basically the slim ones have dual core processors around 50-65k inr. range and heavy ones have the quad core processors which are also expensive. As it supports the hyper threading technology,it doubles up.

In the desktop version,we find quad core or octa core processor with hyper threading as well .
It has 2-8 memory sticks, faster turbo boost and more cache memory which is vital .We should aware that the more the cache memory the better it is. Among all these processors it has the best on-board graphics and can perform any task that a computer should be able to do. A high-end and advanced user should definitely have this.

So, that's all for now. I hope you liked it and found it helpful and learnt something new as well. Please do share with your friends and family.

Comparison between  processors ( Mediatek helio P70/Snapdragon 660 by Qualcomm /Kirin 710/Snapdragon 710 by Qualcomm) used in mid-range smartphones :-

We all know that processors are the heart and soul of a smartphone. Everything about the phone depends upon it's processor, such as how many Gigs of Ram ,Rom it will support, Camera quality, Display type etc.

In India generally 4 types of processors are being used in mid-range smartphones which are neither too cheap nor super costly.

They are-
 1. Mediatek helio P70
 2. Snapdragon 660 by Qualcomm
 3. Kirin 710
 4. Snapdragon 710 by Qualcomm

The comparison will be done on various aspects:
The no.1 :-
Date of Launch-
Mediatek helio P70- 24th October,2018
Snapdragon 660- 5th May,2017
Kirin 710- 19th July,2018
Snapdragon 710- 23rd May,2018

So here we can see that Mediatek helio P70 is the latest among these and Snapdragon 660 is the oldest, but it does not mean that it is worse than Mediatek.

No.2:-
CPU TYPES:-

Mediatek helio P70 - Arm Cortex-A53/ A73
Snapdragon 660 - Kryo™-260
Kirin 710 - Arm Cortex-A53/ A73
Snapdragon 710- Kryo™-360

All these processors work well..But I think Kryo is a little better than its competitors in this segment.

No. 3 :-
CLOCK SPEED-
Clock speed is one of the most important things to consider while comparing processors. So here we go..

Mediatek helio P70 - 4 × core (2.1 GHz) + 4 × core (2.0 GHz)
Snapdragon 660 - 4 × core (2.2 GHz) + 4 × core (1.8 GHz)
Kirin 710 -  4 × core (2.2 GHz) + 4 × core (1.7 GHz)
Snapdragon 710- 2 × core (2.2 GHz) + 6 × core (1.7 GHz)

As we can see all the processors are quite close to each other in terms of speed and smooth performance.

 4. Camera Support:-

Mediatek helio P70 - If  Single camera used -32 MP, If dual- 24 +16 MP

Snapdragon 660 -If  Single camera used -25 MP, Id dual- 16+16 MP

Kirin 710 - Single camera - Unknown , If dual- 24 +16 MP

Snapdragon 710-If  Single camera used -32 MP, If dual- 20+20MP

 5.  Display support:-

Mediatek helio P70- 20:9 Full Hd+

Snapdragon 660 by Qualcomm- QHD

Kirin 710- Full Hd+

Snapdragon 710 by Qualcomm-QHD+

So it's clear that display supported by Qualcomm are superior to that of other processors.

 6. Peak download and upload speed :-
Lot of us fail to understand why our phones are not delivering high download and upload speed inspite of having a 4G plan and good connection. Well, it's because these speeds also depend on the processor one has in his or her smartphone or other smart devices. Every processor has it's own limitations. Let's find out below:

Mediatek helio P70 - Download -300 Mbps / Upload - unknown

Snapdragon 660 by Qualcomm -
Download - 600 Mbps / Upload - 150 Mbps

Kirin 710- Download -600 Mbps / Upload -150 Mbps

Snapdragon 710 by Qualcomm - 800 Mbps / Upload -150 Mbps

Here , we find that we can achieve best speeds with Snapdragon 710 among these, Excellent network condition being available.

These are the vital topics to consider before buying a smartphone with one of these processors. Apart from this a phone's battery performance, Video quality, call clarity also depend on its processor.
So that's it for now. I hope you liked it and found it helpful. Please do share with your friends and family. Thank you..

What is 5G? What are it's applications?

Today,I will try to shed some light on this much talked about topic in a simple manner.

✓Fastest network till now

✓While 4G uses the highest frequency of 6 Ghz maximum but 5G will be able to work on much higher frequency of 30-300 Ghz.
As a result it will be able to easily handle all types of networks such as mobile data,Wi-fi,, Bluetooth, etc. without any congestion.

✓The use of I.O.T that is Internet of things will be Moreover seamless and instant. As a result it will help the doctors to perform an operation from distance ,more effectively which is not possible with 4G.
Another instance will be self-driving cars with all sorts of sensors. It will work better with 5G as it has no delay in transferring the data  to the users due to its almost zero latency or response time .

✓5G will give a new dimension to the AR and VR technology. It will enable the users to feel the actual ambience of a place where he is not present! So when you put on your VR Headset you will be able to have a seamless experience like never before.

✓5G will use broadband. It will  use the millimetre wave technology. Though it may have one issue. As the frequency increases it will not be able to penetrate the walls if the towers are far away or if the weather is overcast and rainy it may face some problems. A 3G or 4G tower can cover almost 30 kms but 5G will only be able to cover about 300 meters. So instead of using large towers ,it may use small cell systems in a large number to reach the users to overcome this problem.

✓When we talk about Mimo that is ports used in a tower. The present technology uses 10-12 ports  but the 5G technology may use more than 100 ports in an antenna. So the capacity of handling no.of users per tower increase exponentially.
So it will need to form beams to control all the signals.

✓ With the advent of this technology we will see smarter devices and more smart  buildings or houses.

✓ Simultaneous high speed on both upstream and downstream. Nowadays if one uploads and downloads at the same time ,he will have less speed in one of the aspects but with 5G one can do both the things at the same time without any lack in speed.
✓This new technology claims to deliver 10 Gbps speed maximum which is humongous and futuristic to say the least. In India however,we can expect at least 1Gbps speeds which is more than enough. An example will go like this:
It means one can download a hd movie in about 3.6 seconds compare to 6 to 8 minutes in 4G.!

That's it for today.I Hope you have found this post helpful and informative. If you do please show support by sharing it. Thank you.

Must Have Android Settings in your Android devices :

Must Have Android Settings in your Android devices:

These are the settings one should have enabled in his or her android device to get the most out of it..

1.You must uncheck the box of the "Unknown sources" category in your security settings in order to save your phone from malwares and viruses if you happen to download any apps or games outside of Google play store.

2.Go to settings and click on the display section. You will find an option of 'adaptive brightness'.Enabling it will ensure that you get enough legibility going outside in the sun automatically and while indoors it will automatically tone down the brightness to suit visibility.Must have feature!

3. Head to Settings and tap storage. Here you will see the 'smart storage' option.Enabling this feature ensures that there remains ample storage in your phone as it removes media files automatically which are 30 days old and backed up in Google drive. As a result your phone stays clutter-free and fast!

4.Jump to settings and tap on  Developer options. But first you have to enable it by going to the  ' About Phone' section  and tapping the 'Build number' five times consecutively and then you will see the Developer Options being enabled.
Next tap it and scroll down until you find window animation scale, transition animation scale and animator duration scale.By default, they are set to '1x' .Now click on them and select '0.5x' option, individually. Now you can notice and feel that your device has got snappier and lag-free!You can also choose the no animation option for fastest possible experience but then you have to sacrifice the beautiful animations that your device has to offer. So choosing the '0.5x' is best as it quickens your phone without sacrificing animation.!
That's it for now.

I shall definitely post such useful tech informations later.Just keep visiting and sharing it.You can also post your queries.I will definitely try to solve them.
